Between Montalto di Castro and Tarquinia there's a sort of reef (max depth: 42 m) rich in flora and fauna with some now rare red coral. Many species of fish, such as groupers and lobsters, can be seen among the rocks and algae.
Other reefs are found off Tarquinia near Porto Clementino and off the "Punta delle Murelle" beach. Then, of course, there's Lake Bolsena...
