Chestnuts Festival
Soriano al Cimino
Early October. This is you chance to taste this local product, fresh from the trees, and enjoy some folk entertainment.
In fact, on the morning of the Sunday of the festival there's archery and medieval style games: the "Giostra degli anelli" and the "Torneo degli arcieri". In the afternoon there's a historical parade. During the various days of this festival you'll find people roasting chestnuts in the squares, producing that unmistakable aroma so typical of Autumn.
