Take the A12 to Civitavecchia, then follow the SS1 "Aurelia"
North (towards Grosseto). The first town you'l meet is
Tarquinia, then Montalto, both having roads leading inland
towards Viterbo and Lake Bolsena.
From Orte
Take the Terni/Viterbo dual carriageway towards Viterbo.
Then continue to Lake Bolsena, Tuscania or Tarquinia/Monte
Romano.
From Lake Bolsena
Take the SS 312 "Castrense" from Valentano
(south of the lake) or follow the signs to Piansano/Tuscania
near Marta and Capodimonte.
From Florence
Take the A1 "Autostrada del Sole" (to Roma).
Exit at Orvieto. Take the SS 71 to Montefiascone/Viterbo.
Then follow the signs to Tuscania or Montalto di Castro/Aurelia.
From Grosseto (c. 70 km)
Take the SS1 "Aurelia" (Rome direction). Exit
at Montalto di Castro/Tarquinia/Civitavecchia.
