The World Fireworks Championships are organised by a local sports association (COCEV - Ronciglione). The aim of the event is to raise money for a re-forestation project, destination yet to be decided, but probably in Brazil or Bolivia, where the organisation is already active). |

Teams from several countries around the world have already signed up: France, Spain, the USA, the UK, Canada and Australia, plus Italy of course!
The area in front of the Alessandro Volta power station will offer a spectacular backdrop. Plenty of parking, stands offering local food and crafts, dancing, art shows and films.
