Benediction of the animals. The locals bring their pets and farm animals to church for a blessing, followed by the lighting of a bonfire and food and wine in the square.

Procession of Corpus Domini
The streets are blanketed with a layer of colourful flowers overnight, forming beautiful images to the surprise of all the next day.

Psychiatric Bands
In the colourful quaint town of Cellere, the 3rd edition of the Psychiatric Bands Festival:
an event that helps the mentally disabled from throughout Italy to interact through their music and share experiences. Great music and a socially valid event.

Feast day of St. Egidio
The locals celebrate their patron saint with a religious ceremony in the church of Saint Egidio, food and wine, horse racing and bingo in the square.

Cellere tra natura e tradizione
A long weekend of activities in the town centre, the Timone valley and the quaint old "borgo" of Pianiano celebrating the local nature and traditions. Cellere town centre: exhibitions along the streets, music, conferences, attempt at the Guinness Book of Records: Italy's Longest Sausage. Pianiano: mediaeval supper with an "Olde-worlde" menu, torch-light and candles. Valle del Timone: Typical local produce and organic food from the Maremma and Tuscia areas ,demonstrations by the Italian Red Cross, Maremma food competition between Tuscany and Latium, Palio (horse racing) and procession in historical costume culminating in a supper under the stars.
